Hey Girls
Hey Girls is a company that makes and sells menstrual products, and for every pack bought, donates a pack to a girl in need.
It was started by Celia and her two daughters, Becky and Kate, because they believe that "girls and young women should never have to compromise their wellbeing or their health."

They are all about providing chlorine and bleach free, environmentally-friendly products that can at the same time help tackle period poverty.

They have a variety of products, such as tampons, sanitary towels, re-usable sanitary towels and menstrual cups. You can also sign up for monthly subscriptions of their disposable products online! Find their products here: https://www.heygirls.co.uk/shop/

Hey Girls also believes that education surrounding the topic of periods is they key to ending the stigma around menstruation. This is shown by their "Hey Boys!" page, in which they answer the most common and basic questions about periods. Small steps like this are extremely helpful in making the conversation easier; everyone needs to understand menstruation to be able to talk about it.

As well as this, Hey Girls has a "My Period" scheme. This comes in a downloadable format for teachers to access, and there is one specific to primary schools and another for secondary schools. They include activity and lesson plans and tips for assemblies to make starting the conversation much smoother. This is beneficial because the easier the process is, the more likely people are to start it.

Hey Girls products are also sold in most Asda stores across the UK, so next time you're shopping, why not buy a pack that will benefit you and a girl in need?
